MOMOSE MT1/R
Handcrafted in Nagano, Japan.
The Momose MT1/R is a refined interpretation of the classic TL-style electric guitar, combining traditional design with the precision and craftsmanship of Japanese guitar building.
Each instrument is handcrafted at the Deviser Aska Workshop in Nagano, where experienced luthiers focus on careful wood selection, precise construction, and meticulous finishing. The MT1 series retains the familiar character of a traditional design while incorporating subtle refinements that enhance comfort, balance, and overall playability.
With its clean lines and understated aesthetic, the MT1/R reflects Momose’s dedication to building instruments that feel timeless yet refined.
Tone & Character
The alder body paired with a maple neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard produces a balanced tone with clear articulation, warm midrange, and smooth high-end response.
Equipped with Momose original pickups, the MT1/R delivers classic TL-style tones with strong note separation and dynamic sensitivity, maintaining clarity across clean and driven settings.
Craftsmanship
Every Momose guitar is built at the Aska Workshop, where a small team of craftsmen focuses on precision and consistency.
Premium components such as Jescar frets, GOTOH hardware, and an oiled bone nut ensure reliability and performance. Combined with Momose’s careful finishing and setup process, the MT1/R offers exceptional playability and a refined boutique feel.
