Part of the very first Momose × Black Crane Guitars Store Run, the MJ・Five2-TOCHI/M brings together Flame Tochi, ash and maple in a five-string bass with a distinctly natural character.
A beautifully figured Flame Tochi top is paired with a two-piece ash body and maple fingerboard. The figuring continues through to the matching-colour headstock, making the character of the Tochi a defining feature across the instrument.
For this version, we selected NA-BK-GRD, a natural-to-black gradation that allows the figuring and colour of the Flame Tochi to remain prominent while the darker edges frame the top. Gold metal control knobs provide a subtle contrast and give this version its own identity within Store Run #1.
The bass is equipped with Mojotone Classic 5-String Jazz Bass pickups, paired with a straightforward 2 Volume, 1 Tone control layout for familiar and intuitive operation.
Jescar FW55090S stainless-steel frets complete the specification, combining durability with the carefully considered materials used throughout the Store Run.
