Part of the very first Momose × Black Crane Guitars Store Run, this MC1-TOCHI/R SSH brings together Momose craftsmanship with a specification and finish combination selected specially for Black Crane.
A beautifully figured Flame Tochi top sits over a two-piece alder body, paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard. The Flame Tochi continues onto the matching-colour headstock, allowing the natural figuring of the wood to become part of the guitar's overall identity.
For this version, the standout detail is the BLU-VGR pickguard, contrasted against black hardware, black metal controls and double-black pickup bobbins. The result is a slightly bolder take on the Store Run aesthetic while still allowing the Flame Tochi to remain the focus.
The HSS configuration combines two Mojotone Classic Strat single coils with a Mojotone Classic Humbucker Hotin the bridge, offering traditional single-coil character alongside a more powerful bridge voice.
Japanese-made GOTOH hardware and Jescar stainless-steel frets complete the specification.
