A stunning limited-production model, the MC-TOCHI-SP21/E showcases some of the finest figured Tochi ever selected by the Aska Workshop team. Combining exceptional Japanese craftsmanship with premium tonewoods and boutique-grade electronics, this is a guitar that is as inspiring visually as it is sonically.
The highlight of this instrument is undoubtedly its spectacular figured Tochi body. The complex, flowing grain patterns create a three-dimensional appearance that shifts under changing light, while the translucent MGR-FGR finish enhances the natural beauty of the wood. Finished in an ultra-thin top lacquer, the guitar retains the tactile warmth and texture of the timber beneath, giving it an organic feel rarely found in modern production instruments.
Complementing the body is a flame maple neck paired with an ebony fingerboard, delivering excellent stability, articulate response, and a smooth playing experience. The comfortable C-shaped neck profile and satin-finished neck back make long playing sessions effortless.
The MC-TOCHI-SP21/E is equipped with a versatile SSH configuration featuring Mojotone 59 Clone pickups. The result is a remarkably dynamic instrument capable of everything from vintage-inspired single-coil clarity to full-bodied humbucker warmth and sustain. Transparent cleans, expressive midrange detail, and articulate overdriven tones are all on tap.
