Inspired by the remarkable Shikizakura (四季桜) trees of Obara, the HF-SHIKIZAKURA'25/ATB celebrates the fleeting beauty of Japan's changing seasons. Every detail of the instrument reflects the rare sight of cherry blossoms blooming alongside vibrant autumn foliage, creating one of Headway's most distinctive seasonal models to date.
The three-piece Yamazakura back features a striking maple centrepiece representing rivers and roads lined with cherry blossoms and autumn leaves, while delicate inlays crafted from cherry wood, satinwood, and movingui capture the colours of autumn. The fingerboard depicts a Japanese bush warbler peeking through the foliage, adding another layer of charm to an already intricate design.
Completing the instrument is Headway's signature cherry blossom-shaped pickguard and an illustrated soundhole cover depicting a traditional Japanese umbrella beneath swirling autumn leaves.
Equipped with a MiSi pickup system and built under the supervision of master craftsman Yasui-san, the HF-SHIKIZAKURA'25/ATB combines exceptional Japanese craftsmanship with remarkable attention to detail.
