The Freedom Custom Guitar Research O.S. TE Pepper Hollow II takes a familiar T-style platform in a very different direction, combining full-hollow construction with carefully selected tonewoods and FCGR’s own hardware and electronics.
Its two-piece Monkey Pod top is paired with a two-piece African mahogany back, creating a particularly distinctive natural appearance beneath the Late Autumn (BAS) finish. The full-hollow construction also keeps the guitar exceptionally light at just 2.67 kg.
An African mahogany neck with FCGR’s Pepper grip is paired with an Indian rosewood fingerboard and 280R radius. The guitar uses FCGR’s proprietary WARM stainless-steel frets, developed to retain the durability of stainless steel while providing a more natural tonal response.
The unusual HS pickup configuration combines an FCGR Hybrid HB Type I-9.9 humbucker at the neck with an FCGR Pepper SPTE at the bridge, giving the guitar a broad tonal range while retaining its T-style character.
