The Martin D-28 Marquis is a vintage-inspired interpretation of the D-28, combining traditional Martin appointments with an Adirondack spruce top and solid East Indian rosewood back and sides.
This 2005 example features an Adirondack spruce top with ageing toner and the Marquis series’ vintage-style V-shaped neck profile, delivering the strong projection, clarity and full-bodied response associated with this period of Martin construction.
A K&K Pure Mini passive pickup has been professionally installed. Its three-transducer design provides a natural acoustic signal without requiring an onboard battery, making the guitar equally suited to acoustic playing and amplified performance.
